Alignment from Within

Personalized movement that helps you understand your body, move better and feel stronger from within. Begin with a session designed around you.

Movement begins with understanding.

Introduction

Understand your body before asking more of it.

ARIN Movement Studio is a Pilates and integrated movement studio in Shanghai, dedicated to helping you understand your body before asking more of it. Through thoughtful, personalized movement, we help you build strength, improve mobility, manage discomfort and move with greater confidence.

Every body arrives with a different story. At ARIN, your movement practice begins with where you are today — not where you think you should be.

“Pilates is not about moving perfectly. It is about understanding your body, building strength from within and moving through life with greater confidence.”

Our approach

One body. An integrated approach.

Rather than following a fixed routine, ARIN thoughtfully combines Clinical Pilates, Integrated CoreAlign®, Spiral Stabilization, breathwork, fascial release, and strength-based movement. Every session is private and one-to-one, shaped around your body, needs and goals.

The method may change, but the intention remains the same: to help you move with greater ease, strength, and confidence.

Methods

Chosen for the person, not the routine.

Clinical Pilates

Individualized, problem-solving Pilates that prioritizes quality and control over completing a set routine.

Integrated CoreAlign®

Upright, functional movement that builds balance, coordination and whole-body stability.

Spiral Stabilization

Works the body’s spiral muscle chains for spinal length, alignment and more efficient movement.

Breathwork & Fascial Release

Releases tension and sharpens body awareness to prepare you to move well.

Strength-Based Movement

Progressive resistance that builds lasting capacity, stability and confidence.

Who ARIN is for

Philosophy

We don’t chase perfect movement. We cultivate awareness.

Testimonials

Real movement. Meaningful change.

Short, specific stories — a starting point, what felt different about ARIN, and the change clients noticed.

“Working with Rinnie has been absolutely amazing — a deeply personalized experience that has had a profound impact on my flexibility and spine health. As someone with Harrington Rods, it can be hard to find accommodating ways to stretch and exercise. Rinnie has ensured I'm not just practicing things I can do, but things that help me do more. I've already seen improvements I didn't think were possible.”— Cynthia · adaptive movement with Harrington Rods

Posture & Back Relief

“Tucked inside a spa, this Pilates studio is a hidden gem. Rinnie doesn't just throw you into poses — she takes time to understand your body's needs and builds a plan around them. After just three months, my posture has transformed and my chronic back pain from long flights has almost disappeared. She's the ultimate encourager who makes every small victory feel huge.”

— Aileen

Prenatal Movement

“I started weekly prenatal Pilates with Rinnie and the difference has been remarkable. During my first pregnancy I had severe lower-back pain in my third trimester; this time I feel stronger, more comfortable and far more confident. She explains the purpose behind every move, highlights the muscles it targets, and offers practical advice on concerns like diastasis recti. I genuinely look forward to every visit.”

— Han Ying

Scoliosis & Alignment

“I had been living with scoliosis-related pain for a long time. Rinnie immediately took the time to understand my condition and work closely with me — thoughtful, detailed and tailored to my specific curve. After just a few months I've seen noticeable improvements in my posture and alignment. I feel straighter, stronger, and the pain now feels like a distant memory.”

— Amanda

Post-Injury Recovery

“Rinnie's expertise made all the difference. She corrected my breathing technique and designed a personalized routine that targets my lumbar disc herniation. The immediate posture correction was incredible, and the relief in my back has been tangible.”

— Alice
